Ava Grace immediately took to them both
It was Nicole's first time to Texas, so we had to take her to the fountains at Williams Tower. It was Ava Grace's first time to the fountains, too, and to no one's surprise, she loved it.

Nicole is a pediatric pharmacist, so she was our resident expert for the weekend. She suggested we try out the Bumbo and it was a great suggestion. Ava Grace enjoyed feeling the grass with her feet while working on sitting up on her own.

We even used the Bumbo to let Ava Grace join us for dinner!
Nicole also helped Ava Grace work on using her pacifier. She was so patient and wonderful with her! We didn't have 100% success, but at least she can chew on parts of the pacifier for now :)

We went to the Co-Cathedral to show Nicole the beautiful Catholic church in downtown Houston. The facility is massive, and even more so in proportion to Ava Grace.

Saturday night was "Double Date" night! Ava Grace got to play with her babysitter and the four of us went out to an Astros game, followed by a delicious dinner.

While we did a lot of activities away from home, we did enjoy some plain old relax time at home.

Ava Grace loved playing in the water at the fountains. This is definitely going to be a fun place for her to play as she grows up!
