Happy Independence Day! We salute both of Ava Grace's grandfathers for their service to our country, and especially her Uncle Jimmy, who is currently serving abroad. Thank you and we love you!
Wow, we had a weekend full of excitement and activity! We visited our Austin friends and family and got to see lots of people.
Our good friends, Patrick & Stephanie, hosted their second annual "Willie's Fourth of July Picnic" in honor of their sweet son, Willie. While it was hot outside, they did a great job making the backyard cool and comfortable for kiddos and parents. Ava Grace was excited to wear her festive outfit... she's been waiting for weeks for this party!

After all of the picnic excitement, mommy & daddy got to carry on one of their favorite traditions of heading out on a catamaran with friends on Lake Travis for the day. CC and Big Daddy were so nice to babysit while we had a date day out. We're pleased to report that Ava Grace was "pretty good" for her grandparents :)
