Pumpkin patch!

With the beautiful fall weather and picture-perfect pumpkin patch, we decided to attempt our own photo shoot.  As you'll see, we don't have any award winning photos.  Miss Ava Grace was way too enthralled with the outdoor scenery to care too much about the camera.  We love her nonetheless :)

Sweet mobility

We are officially crawling!  After a week of figuring things out, Miss Ava Grace finally nailed it on Wednesday.  Yes, she does a funny crawl, using her right knee and left foot exclusively.  But it gets her there and it's a little bit different (we say "special").

Living in Texas, it's appropriate that Ava Grace be introduced to high school football at an early age.  So we have started going to the home football games of the school by our home, where she has been completely transfixed by the sounds and sights of the games.  She loves both the goings on at the game... and the attention she gets from the onlookers :)

Baby, it's cold outside

We had our first cold snap of the season, which meant we had to bundle up for our morning jog.  Mind you, the cold snap lasted for 2 days and it's now back in the low 90's, but whatever... she got a good dose of what's in store for the upcoming holiday season!

Ava Grace is absolutely mesmerized by dogs and she just adores Bailey.  And he is tolerant of her, which is all we can ask.  Some cute bonding moments:

Lots of Friends

What a thrill it was to reunite with "the girls" to celebrate a wedding!  Ava Grace got to meet some new friends and visit with old ones.  Congrats to Bodie and David on their marriage and thank you for a fun weekend!

Finally, she's big enough for the swing!  What a great way to enjoy this weather and be outside.  She's not quite sure what to make of it, but she sure seemed to like it.

Meeting Cousin Kade

Ava Grace got to meet her second cousin, Kade, who is 6 weeks older than she is, at a family baby shower.  She hasn't been around many babies, so this was new for her.  Kade was so sweet and just the most adorable baby boy.  He was interested in her; she was interested in his toy!

Family comes to visit!

Ava Grace was so excited to meet Aunt Megan, and to see Grandma Denise and Grandpa Alan again!  We had a fun packed weekend and did a lot over the course of their visit.  Some highlights:
