Dry Air and Dust Clouds and Oil Fields, Oh My!

Once again, Ava Grace got to fly on an airplane... and once again, I failed to capture photographic documentation.  Too much going on, what can I say?  What made the flight so much fun is that Aunt Paige flew from Austin to Houston, and then the 3 of us flew to Midland together.  It was a very smooth flight and we were so happy Paige was with us!

Upon arrival, we hit up the main purpose of our trip... to meet Great-Grandmother Mimi!  Mimi has been looking forward to meeting her first great grandbaby for quite a long time, so there was much anticipation.  And fortunately, Ava Grace did not disappoint Mimi - they were immediately in love!

Proud Great-Grandmother Mimi

Then we went to check out Cristiani's Jewelers and see Big Daddy!

We checked out the inventory to decide what our purchase would be:

We selected the sweet "A" pendant, of course!

We enjoyed a fabulous dinner with Uncle Paul and Aunt Dana and we appreciated their hospitality!

There's not a lot to write home about when it comes to Midland, but one thing that it does have going for it is beautiful sunsets.  This picture doesn't do it justice, but we can attest to the fact that it's awesome.

And here we are leaving Midland, quite tuckered out.  Great trip!!!
